About me & my approach to planning
I’m Chris and I’m a qualified town planner with over 18 years experience in planning. I combine deep policy knowledge with hands‑on delivery experience — meaning I don’t just advise, I help you get things built.
I pride myself on an approachable, personable and cheerful approach which I apply in a positive, creative and pragmatic way. I communicate in plain English and seek to demystify and simplify planning as far as possible, removing any worry or hassle for my clients.
Good planning and good design should result in positive outcomes not negative ones. Sometimes planning can be overly complicated and unnecessarily adversarial.
From the client’s point of view planning is actually very simple: a planning application is submitted and there will be one of two outcomes; an approval or a refusal.
